On behalf of the Precision Sample team, we are very excited to welcome Tokyo Survey Research Inc. (TSR) as one of our new affiliates within the Macromill Group. The 51% acquisition of TSR became official this past Monday, which gave us even more to be excited about as we began our 4th of July celebrations!
TSR is a provider of next-generation in-house marketing research and was previously wholly owned by Hakuhodo Incorporated. Hakuhodo and Macromill have agreed to operate TSR jointly to maximize value for clients. TSR has been operating since 1965, so we at Precision Sample are confident that their experience will be a valuable asset to Macromill in the years to come.
TSR will be renamed H.M. Marketing Research, Inc. (HMM) effective on October 1, 2018. This addition to the Macromill Group will further solidify our global presence. Currently, through our affiliated companies, Macromill operates in more than 90 countries worldwide and is the fastest growing global market research firm in the world. We are excited, not only to take part in this rapid growth, but at the prospect of a more interconnected world powered by objective and meaningful information.
It is imperative to continue to stretch our boundaries internationally. Doing so opens our market up to a substantially larger customer base, allows for new perspectives to solving problems, and in this case, creates a brand new network of individuals we can do business with. We at Precision Sample are very eager to conduct research with our new colleagues at TSR.
